1. What Owned Map is

Owned Map is a tool to organize and visualize information about assets you own, such as property, vehicles, boats, aircraft, land, and equipment. Owned Map is in early access, so features can change, and some may be unavailable or incomplete.

2. Not professional advice

Owned Map is not a financial, investment, tax, legal, insurance, or appraisal service. Values, returns, yields, and other figures are calculated from the numbers you enter. Owned Map does not look up market prices or verify your data. Do not rely on Owned Map alone for decisions about buying, selling, financing, insuring, or reporting taxes on an asset, and consult a qualified professional when it matters.

3. Your account

• You sign in with a link sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to that email secure and for what happens under your account.
• You must be at least 18 and give accurate information.
• Tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed your account.

4. Your content

The information you enter belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Owned Map for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to enter it. You can delete it at any time, and you can export your assets as CSV. Because the service is in early access, please keep your own backup of anything important. If you choose a trusted person or invite someone to your portfolio, you decide who can see your information and when. You are responsible for choosing people you trust, and we cannot verify who opens a link you have given out.

5. Sharing links

If you create a share link, you are choosing to show the included figures to anyone who has it. Treat it like a password, set an expiry that fits, and turn it off when it is no longer needed. You are responsible for who you send it to.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse Owned Map. In particular, do not break or probe the service or its security, access other people’s data, overload it with automated requests, use it for anything unlawful, or enter content you have no right to share.

7. Plans and payments

A paid plan costs $47 per month for tracking 3 assets, plus $15 per month for each additional asset, in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. A subscription renews every month until you cancel it. New subscribers can start with a 7-day free trial. A card is required to start it. You are not charged during the trial; when it ends, your card is charged the monthly price unless you cancel before the trial ends, which you can do at any time under “Plan and billing”. The trial is offered once per person. You can change the number of assets or cancel at any time under “Plan and billing” in the app; changes to the number of assets are charged or credited for the rest of the billing period, and a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. If a plan ends or becomes smaller, we do not delete your assets or documents: you can still see and export them, but you cannot add more until your plan allows it. We may change prices for future periods and will tell you in advance. Joining the early-access list does not create a payment obligation. Refunds are given where the law requires them.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Owned Map running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error free. We may change, pause, or end features, and we will try to give notice when a change affects your data.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using Owned Map at any time and ask us to delete your account at support@ownedmap.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk.

10. Disclaimer and liability

Owned Map is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or decisions made using figures shown in Owned Map. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When the change is meaningful, we will update the date above and let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use Owned Map after that means you accept the new terms.
